You can delete your BALLON account and associated personal data at any time. This page explains how and what happens.
How to request deletion
- In the app (when available): Profile → Account → Delete account.
- By email: send a request from your account email to [CONTACT EMAIL] with the subject "Delete my account".
We may ask you to confirm the request from your registered email to protect your account.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in identity.
- Your profile (display name, avatar, country).
- Your predictions, points, reputation, and social connections (follows, rivalries).
What may be retained
- Limited records we must keep for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons, retained only as long as required and then deleted.
- Aggregated or anonymized data that no longer identifies you.
Timeline
We action verified deletion requests within [N] days and confirm by email when complete.
Third parties
Where data was shared with processors (see the Privacy Policy), we instruct them to delete it in line with their terms.
