1. Entertainment only — not gambling, not advice
Ballon is a free, skill-based entertainment game. Predicting scores earns points, reputation, and standing among friends — nothing more. There is no stake, no wager, no odds, no cash or prize of value, and no payment to enter or win. Ballon is not a gambling, betting, or wagering service, and nothing on it should be treated as betting advice or as a basis for any real-world bet or financial decision.
2. Accuracy and timeliness of sports data
Fixtures, team information, scores, and results shown in Ballon come from a third-party sports-data provider (API-Football / API-Sports) and, in places, are processed by our own scoring logic. We take care to present this data faithfully, but:
- we do not guarantee that fixtures, kick-off times, scores, results, or standings are complete, accurate, current, or uninterrupted;
- data may be delayed, incorrect, or later revised by the provider or the competition organiser;
- scoring, leaderboards, and reputation depend on this data and may be corrected if the underlying data is corrected.
You should not rely on Ballon as an authoritative source of scores or results.
3. No affiliation with clubs, leagues, or competitions
Team names, competition names, and related information refer to real-world sports for identification and commentary only. Club, league, federation, and competition names, logos, crests, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Ballon is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with any club, league, federation, competition, player, or governing body.
4. Third-party data rights
Ballon accesses sports data via a third-party provider (API-Football / API-Sports) under that provider's terms. The provider has confirmed (written email from API-FOOTBALL support, 13 July 2026, on file) that Ballon's use case — displaying fixtures, scores, and team/competition logos for identification inside the app, including within a paid-subscription experience where users pay for the app rather than for raw data — is permitted under its Terms of Service and requires no additional licence from the provider and no attribution.
Logos and marks are shown for identification only, within fair use, and do not imply any official affiliation. Third-party intellectual property rights (including club, league, and competition trademarks and copyrights) remain the property and responsibility of their respective owners, and Ballon claims no rights in them. Ballon uses factual match information and displays logos modestly for identification; it does not reproduce official photographs or protected material without rights.
